The design career has a duration of 5 years, in which it is divided into three cycles that are to recognize to interpret, to intervene and to propose to transform.
More than changing the study plan, I would change things about the system that I have experienced in the two years that I have been studying the career. In the first place, the taking of subjects, many people were left without their corresponding subjects and especially the electives,in which they did not reach the quotas or they had to do one that was not of their mention just not to fall behind and not to pay another year which is not a minor problem. I would propose a new system in which it is built with the help of the same students. Secondly, that the subjects do not give you the work at the same time, they always accumulate in the same week, it is usually at the end of the semester, this increases your academic load, which affects your performance and mental health and even more in the online mode. And finally, the Adobe programs to which not all of us have access, which is another of the big problems, as they do not provide us with the programs when they are the main thing in the race and you pay so much money.
As for what would change about the infrastructure, the truth is that I do not know the faculty in depth and I do not know how it is when all the students are there, since only the first and second year students have hybrid classes. I would not know that improving of the infrastructure would perhaps add more bathrooms.
Those are the things that I would change about the university, more than the study plan of the design career.
